Stiles & Hooker was engaged by Kinetic Engineering to provide design and documentation for their office fire reinstatement project. The project was initiated after the destruction of a 2 storey office due to fire.

The brief for the new proposed offices was to encompass the previous footprint, but to be constructed over 3 levels that integrates into the existing workshop building.

Materials used included concrete piles, slabs, double T concrete upper floors, steel support frames, precast concrete and timber walls.

The design consisted of precast panel walls with relief patterns, vertical glass and an upper level deck area. The inspiration for the interior design was to have an industrial feel, which the Stiles & Hooker team achieved with exposed steel, concrete polished floors, steel stairs and exposed floor structures.
